First off all, I think it's awesome of you to release your assets for everyone!
But most of the cars look rather generic. Like exchanging the "texture" and "hey, a new car!". ;-)
I also took a look at your game. I like the idea of having a different way to controll the car. But the description on the PlayStore page is not usefull at all - at least not in german. The translation is so bad, I couldn't figure out what your game is about. I wasn't even able to figure out how to controll it. But stupid as I am, I wasn't able to make Google show me the english version. I'm positive I could help improving the text.
On a sidenote: You don't happen to know Moosader, do you? Her avatar in her forum and her YouTube Account somewhat resemble your other game on PlayStore. Just saying.
Anyway:
I _try_ to create a similiar traffic game tomorrow to play around with haxe. Hopefully I can get it to run. :D
Thanks for checking out the game. It's been around for a few months now so I thought I would put some of the assets up here in case they can be of use to anyone. I know they're not very exciting, but as a programmer I'm proud of them :p
The translations are all probably very bad. I tried to use an online translator and get it as accurate as possible but I knew that they would still be hard to understand. If you would like to translate into proper German that would be great. Also, are you from Germany? I lived in the Oberpfalz area for a few years, lovely place.
I don't know Moosader but I looked at her logo and it is pretty similar. Coincidence I guess, the moose game I made was supposed to be my girlfriend riding a moose (her favorite animal) so I guess it inevitably looked similar.
I can see where you're coming from. I could never create such assets. And yes, they could be of use for my own mini-game.
Never ever use software to translate. Simple sentences may work more or less - at least you can somewhat figure what you tried to say - but anything beyond that is not advised.
Small example: My teacher got an advertisement about golf clubs. We were able to figure out, that they offered golf clubs. But that's it. Nobody was able to understand anything. And I was lazy for my homework so I used a translating software to translate a good english article to german. And yes, I never read it until I had to.
I gave up reading. Nothing made any sense. So yeah, I'm from germany. But quite far from where you were. But I can still translate your text if you want. ;-)
The way it is now, I couldn't even try to translate it to english.
Ah, so that's what it was. A funny coincidence. It's also a coincidence I'm from her forum and noticed it right away. :D
I dunno if you plan on improving your game. But if you do: I think you got some bugs. If you disable sound and music, sometimes sound still is played when you hit a car. And sometimes the music starts after a "game over".
// Edit: Congratz, you got your first german comment on your game - by me. I've also read your tutorials "Make a game. Quick." Part 1 and 2. Quite interessting. I love it when developers share their experience with others (I got a book just with comments of developers about their games).
I have heard about the sound bug a few times, and have attempted to fix it but haven't got around to finishing it yet. I'll probably release an update with a fix and a few new cars or something. Thanks for the heads up.
Glad you like the tutorial, it was fun to write and a lot of people gave me good feedback on it. I'll definitely continue writing those for my next games. Thanks for the comment on Google Play too!
WoW, thank you very much for this graphics! I will need to play! Special thanks for adding this graphic under the license: CC0.
