Almost every star system will have a mercury-like planet, and Persephone-1 is no exception. This hellish planet is located so close to the center star that it is almost molten. So molten, in fact, it's disintegrating slowly, and faint rings of embers are beginning to surround it.

Inhabitable and volatile, it's expected that won't be too much longer before this planet dissolves away completely and becomes part of the star itself...

The texturing of this planet is some of my most unique work to date, using custom brushes, patterns, and lots of layer experimenting. The end result is a strange planet that I just had to share. I hope you enjoy it.

The pack contains the ringed and non-ringed versions of the planet in High-Res and the RPG-Maker Ready sprite sheet.
