A mantlet is a moveable wooden wall that is used during siege warfare to protect crossbowmen. The fighters can launch their projectiles at the siege defenders through the arrow slit opening. There are a pair of wheels attached to the bottom for mobility. It can be towed about by means of an arm attached to the back.
