If you make characters, could you consider including diagonal poses as well? LPC and all the other entries usually only use the standard Up-Down-Left-Right concept from the first Zelda.

Love your work! Could you verify the water tiles? Ther corners don't match up as well as the top two water tiles with the small spot of land in the corners.
Would also love a bridge over water. I'm starting to learn Inkscape but I'm not their yet.
