Terraforming Building Pack
Bunch of 3d assets designed for human and alien factions.

The terran garage doors open via animation. The towers have cartoony idle animations. The vehicle is rigged for moonbuggy-esque individual wheel/suspension animation or physics. The alien shrines are meant to be animated with idle animations but I never got to that, or to optimizing the materials. The terran textures are baked into single materials but the source files are available as well.
The .zip has everything you need, for any game engine. The .unitypackage just makes things easier if you are planning to use the Unity engine.
Game plan (abandoned):
Concept: blast-corps style demolition, but also construction, transportation, etc tasks. Time trials.
bulldozer - build up enough speed and demolish by ramming into things
boost - short-lasting nitro fuel tank
dropper - drops resources (water, seeds, etc) behind the truck
bomb - resource available on some levels
post digger - smashes a held pole-type resource into place (trees, flag, etc)
cutting laser? - would recharge slowly, cuts everything nearby in a semicircle around truck
winch - hook on chain that would drag behind the truck with physics, can latch onto the following human structures, allowing player to drag them around
giant drill - digs trenches as you drag it across
population capsule - bunch of people in a droppod
alien statue - have to drag it out of the way
water tower - drag it into a big ditch to create a big puddle. could have other resources too
cultivator - drops seeds in a wide area
wrecking ball - lighter than the rest, just adds damage to the end of the chain (can't hurt truck)
Aliens Fluff:
tall thin 8m tall sentient race with an obsession with potential/kinetic energy, as evidenced by their shrines involving moving spheres vs static cubes. I'll animate them later, basically moving mechanical sculptures that have been operating on their own for a long time. To sleep they would lie in stone shelter, with no regards for claustrophobia. upon exploring the habitations and finding corpses the researchers might first assume they were burial chambers, until later noting the high traffic back and forth and other details. there is a native flora that sways in the planet's elements with a sphere at the end, going along with their fixation. Also squarish solid crystal plants. The movement vs rest motif can be noted in the larger shelters that have square shapes holding up a stationary sphere, paralleling the being's daily rest. Still need agricultural/recreational structures, I assume they'd have sports involving spheres. just info to put in unlockable diologues that went through my head while working
