Would anyone be interested in this style of character model?
I haven't been able to get much 3d work done lately but I was able to get to a desktop with Zbrush on it and decided to give something a little more stylized thanI am used to, a shot. Sadly I wasn't as fond of the current model I ended up with either so instead of deleting it like I normally would to start over... I thought that I would post here and see if there is any interest in it, if there is I will take it a step further and release it here, although someone will need to texture it, and someone will also need to unwrap and retopologise to use in a game however the high poly file will be available if I go forward with it.
Here is a little preview image:

As you can see, the proportions are a little more exagerated than I was originally intending to go for, but overall I think that this could probably work for someone looking for this type of ill proportioned character style.
The clothing is typical fantasy style with the adventurer boots that are nowhere near finished and trousers that have yet to get any detail along with a bland and unfinished belt :(
I will leave this post here and see if this gathers any interest, if it doesn't I will possibly keep the file and finish it at some stage later in time when I have more free time but if there is interst I will likely attempt to finish it up sooner rather than later and post it up on here.
I was attempting to record the process but apparently I hit pause near the begining and forgot to unpause the recording software.
I am aware of the many flaws in the current state of the preview image but it is a WIP.
Kind Regards,
Patrick Griffiths.
Hi Patrick,
I stumbled upon this site while looking for art for a game I'd like to create for mobile platform.
Not sure about the game yet, neither the art, but just wanted to say your character looks very nice already and could a good one for use in games.
Don't stop :)
I would love to learn the design part and appreciate the work done by you onto the character. I am new to programming and designing so use the bar chart, free chart from the chart library available online.
