Advice for making retro FPS sprites
Hi
First post here. I hope this is the right sub-forum for this. Apologies if not; feel free to move it.
I came here looking for some advice/guidance. I'm currently following a retro FPS course in Unreal. I believe a user's sprites from here were used. Specifically Nmn...? https://opengameart.org/users/nmn So if anyone could point me in the right direction on how to reach out to them, that would be appreciated too. :)
I've only touched on 2D pixel sprite artwork a bit. I have a course I still need to finish. I'm primarily a 3D character artist. However, I would love to learn how to make 2D sprites, but specifically first-person sprites, like weapons etc. I can't seem to find any courses online at all for those specifically, which is unfortunate and surprising. So could anyone point me in the right direction? Either to someone who teaches things like that? A breakdown text-based guide? Or perhaps the general workflow of how they're made.
Any help/advice would be super appreciated. Thank you. :)
Nmn is still active on the site. You are already aware of his profile. Why haven't you just messaged him or visited his home page? It has additional contact information.

I will do that, too. I was just trying to see if anyone else could offer any pointers/resources etc in case I don't get a reply. The more knowledge and guidance I can get from people the better, right? :)
