Looking for programmer to join my youtube team and make games or game addons.
Hello, this might be in the incorrect place, but regardless I'm looking for someone who might consider joining a youtube team where there job is purely to create original games or game addons and a website. Most of it may be coded as i expect. Please note the following before considering: I'm of the age of fourteen and therefore will not pay nor be as well experienced as an older person would be. I've not yet got the materials to record and therefore the youtube channel is not yet created but work doesn't have to wait for the channel. With this knoweledge I hope you will consider the roll of a friendly, positive programmer. Email me at ugawesomeguy@gmail.com or reply within this topic, to ask further questions. P.S. I'm also looking for Coders, Artists, Musicians, and anyone of these sorts to all join teh youtube team which will be created soon!
Hello UG AwesomeGuy.
Unfortunatly I am unable to join your team, life is a little too busy....
I code a little now and then when I get a chance, nothing big.
I was once thinking about attracting an artist to a game project, but after 3 years, it is still not ready yet. The reason I am telling you this is because I came accross this forum topic a little while back which I was reminded of by your post. It got me thinking a lot about team members on an open source project.
It is about attracting and keeping artists, but alot of it also applies to other team members too.
Give it a read, it has some very good points:

Something you could try is start off a game project and host the code on a site such as https://github.com/
That way it would be easy for people to see your project and help with code, send bug reports etc.
I can remeber a few years back when I was fourteen, I had many good ideas.
I wrote them down in a notebook, and am slowly teaching myself a little porgramming when time permits, maybe one day I can make some of them, but I still have a lot to learn first.
As for recording, I use "VokoScreen" to record with, works well on Linux, not sure about other platforms.
If you put code up on a public repository, I might be able to lend a hand with programming now and then.
Good luck with your youtube team!
Your advise and kindness is greatly appreciated.I will take all you said and look into the advise, thanks.
With the school year coming to a close, i'll have all summer to work on projects. I have experience coding in GM and have submitted multiple musical pieces to this website. If you can gather others, i may be interested in joining.
The last post was 2 years ago dude...
Stay a while and listen.
