I figured it out. I was being a dumbass. The thing that doesn't take svgs is the comment box on a post. So the rule is, if you want to incrementally upload more svgs, then you just edit the post, rather than posting them as comments on a post. Thank you for replying!
Added two mines - a classic looking but not very realistic one, and a realistic but rather underwhelming one. I promise, they really looked more like the bell pit in reality!

Cleaned up the smithy slightly; added a slightly rubbish tower and a very fine windmill.
