Well, not particularly, but it seemed Ancient Greece was a good starting point. I had been contemplating other pre-roman cultures as well, but that required a lot of research, so I'll be post-poning them till I have good reference material. I'll be focussing on Roman architecture next, and then Egyptian architecture, so I filter out the Roman and Greek influences from the reference material.
(Though, getting enough tiles so people can reproduce Abu Simbel is going to be... a challenge...)
