Hello everyone!

TL;DR: This is a sprite pack for making a Your Turn to Die fangame. It includes characters with mood variations + some CGs and backgrounds. The original project will likely never get finished so I'm releasing most of its resources. Attribution is highly appreciated, however it's optional where it makes little sense f.e. if you use it in a meme. Call us the GTTD team.

So, who's responsible for this?

I'm a really big fan of the game Your Turn to Die. It's a true gem in entertainment & drama, right next to Ultimate Gambler Kaiju, Monster and Scarface.

In fact, I became so inspired by it that I wanted to make some kind of fangame, one with an alternative story utilizing a modern game engine. So, late 2021, I decided to join a brilliant script writer commissioning brilliant artists. His name is Rob, and I supported him due to his incredible story telling skills. My then job could roughly be described as co-director, helping on pretty much all topics.

However, since then he’s kept disappearing, and as he was the mastermind we couldn’t really continue. My hopes are that one day he’ll come back for good. If life hadn’t come in between, we probably would’ve become great friends.

So, since he may not finish it, I’m deciding to release the early game’s assets with minimal story context in case he does come back. They are extremely high quality, and it’d frankly be a shame for them to be left unused.

This pack includes:

• 11 characters with different moods sprites and short description
• 10 cutscene Graphics
• 3 background locations (which amount to 21 images)
• 1 button

You’re free and encouraged to use them on your project, with credit being highly appreciated. The artist for the drawings is Daenerys Sideris aka Nerysaku. The pixel art was made by someone I only know as Osteichthyens.
