Briswak Needs New UI menu's and more!
So everything is c, and I basically wanted to give it a new look. I wanted to change the ingame GUI and make a start up menu that edits the config.ini in my client file. This has already been done with the evidyon.es files(googleable) but I want original looks and such. purhaps someone out there can assist me with this. ---------------UPDATE-------------------------
Donwload the "content" from http://unseenstudios.com/making-evidyon/download/ and select the file, then unzip and enter the Content file. Browse to GUI, Icons, Etc and view the files for the main page ect. To edit Source in c++ for alignments of images ect. Download the Source file or ALL in ONE pack on the same download page. Unzip and enter the source file browse to "common" which I actually just found hehe(to see the alignment files look in GUI.h the first file, This file leads you to the other files that make up the GUI alignment files like GUIcanvas.h). There is all the files needed to change alignments ect. I assume. I am not pro at GUI ect. I can litterally learn stuff instantly so mabye I can finish this soon. But I am making special fx's new animations and crazy new functions never thought possible. So I am crazy busy and very entertained.
Another look at the GUI should be availabe from www.evidyon.es it's a sourceforge page with the content. (Has a small screen that edits the config.ini file for fullscreen/window mode ect. (I want more)
What kind of Startup screen I want. Firstly it needs to be full screen, And have a background image I can plug atleast a jpg into. Secondly it needs to access the following options from the config.ini file. "Window/full screen"with a button, "Resolution values"(basic and possibly in a options area), "Max Frames Per Sec" (also possible in a options area/additional menu), and also a "World+update" option which edits the ip/server address also located in config.ini that can check a file name for version like 1.1 or 1.2 to confirm uptodate. (Make 6 slots total for the worlds if possible and let me know how to edit it). So it could say
World (which auto checks client name like 1.0 or 1.1 , if clients lower updates/downloads from a url I could designate in some script)
When you click world it says checking updates, then moves to run the client file.
Options menu has Resolutions and Max frames as well as Sound on and off.
For anything related to ingame GUI, I want something that resembles primal rage at the top left with a heart in it that beats, harder and faster as it gets lower in health, with the hp/mp bars entending to the right. I think that would be awesome.
Doing this for me will earn you my undieing love!.
Also understand, I can pay for said work if my project makes money. If it doesn't then I can't untill it does, as long as the price stated after revenue is built is within reason. Also full credits will be given. Aswell as Webpage space if applicatable.
may I ask where to get the existing ui files?
