On the other hand, I think it's a defendable statement that this picture really brings nothing special to the table. And it's not like she's deleting it without warning.
Fair enough. It's a good thing my pixel art has dramatically improved since I made this one or I might vanish entirely. As an aside, there's a lot of really crappy art on here getting CRAZY downloads that I hope they delete as well.
I'm really sorry. This isn't a rule I like enforcing. Open game art will always be OPEN. This isn't about art being good art or bad art, just art that could be made very quickly by most people.
Also, as spring mentioned, i didn't delete this without warning because i think an appeals process is important. I'm only one person and I'm wrong a lot. If others disagree with my assessment, I'm open to reconsideration.
This was even a borderline case. I think if it were part of a larger tileset, the whole tileset wouldn't be so easy to reproduce. I also agree your art has improved. This wasn't meant as criticism or insult, just an attempt to apply the rules evenly.
What other art did you feel should be removed?
Yeah, I see where you're coming from. I may upload all the art from this game as a single pack. In fact, that was what I should have done in the first place, but I didn't know how this site worked back then lol.
As for the other art, I couldn't remember if I tried. It was on the front page of the site but it's long gone now.
