Also, just another little bit of inspiration as far as the kind of fun you could have with these songs, here's a disco remix of Also Sprach Zarathustra, from the Little Big Planet 2 soundtrack. Obviously this is copyrighted. :)
Hey, just a heads up, I tried going to your kickstarter link and it took me to the greenlight page. Definitely want to support this project. Did I miss the kickstarter window?
I can't replicate the issue. The full file downloads for me and opens just fine. How big is the file after you've downloaded it?
At the moment I'd recommend trying to download it with a different web browser (and let me know what browser and OS versions you're using). If downloading with a diffferent browser doesn't work, let me know and I'll check the server logs and see if there's some sort of clue as to why it's not downloading for you.
One other thing, make sure your disk isn't full or something. :)
If I write a program myself and release it under the GPL, I'm not personally bound by the GPL because I own the copyright on the code. Valve probably obtained the quake source code under a different license, and so wouldn't be bound to the GPL either.
Just a quick note regarding the attribution notice: It's easier if you just change it to something that someone can copy verbatim into their credits, like this:

@Redshrike
I wasn't familiar with Faure, but I have to say he sounds a lot like Uematsu (or, more correctly, it sounds like he influenced Uematsu).
Links to his musical scores:

I thought of both of those songs, but I didn't know what they were called, so thank you for finding them. :)

@darkdreamdk: What happened here? You had five duplicate comments, each with about 50 lines of whitespeace.

What happens when you try to download?
I had that credited in the youtube video description, but I didn't provide a link. Fixed.
Here are two art collections that have sprites that might work:

Very nice!
