I like the idea, but as MrBeast says, this is planned. The ability to collaborate is distinct from the ability to fork. If you have five people who are really working together on one piece of art, you don't want to make them make five different forks of the same work. On the other hand, if it's a non-collaborative fork (say you want to take a work in a different direction from the artist) then the ability to fork is important. At any rate, both will be available.
I would disagree. A lot of really nice game models start out as sculptures. Admittedly it can't be used in exactly this form, but it would be easy enough for someone to load it up into Blender and do a baked, low-poly version of it, either for use as a static model or as part of a character.
Honestly, I'd like to see a lot more of these sorts of things uploaded. They're a very good starting point for building higher-end 3D game models.
and could be used as a git for art
That's something we're aspiring to do, actually -- the idea of bringing open source development methods to art. :)
I wasn't aware that French people were particularly concerned with clarity over and above everyone else. :)

Thanks for your feedback! :)

I like that idea. I'll see if I can make it happen somehow. :)

The Les Forges pixel art course, translated into english right here on OGA:

If you speak French, this is the original:

Mostly the project is waiting on OGA2. I plan to go back to it (and Last Escape) once all of the 2.0 features are implemented here.
There should be an "edit" tab on the top of the post.
Your texture work is really amazing.
Very nice work!
