It depends on the specifics of what you're looking for, but I could probably come up with something. If you catch me on IRC, we can talk about it in realtime. If you prefer email, I can contact you at whatever address you used to sign up for your OGA account. Just let me know which would be best.
Thanks for reporting this. I'll see if there's an easy way of fixing it. If it turns out to be difficult to fix, I'll have to put it off, since it's not really a show stopper.
I suppose it depends on the strength of the EMP. One would think that if the pulse is strong enough to fry electronics (as opposed to just cause them to reset or something), then if those elctronics were embedded into someone's central nervous system, it would do fatal damage to their living tissue. I suppose if the pulse were mild enough, it would have a temporary stunning effect, perhaps preventable by turning your own nanobots off temporarily.
That's a cool idea. One thing I'd been considering as a way to counter them would be an electromagnetic pulse, but the problem with that would be that it could kill anyone with normal cybernetics too, so it would only be usable on a completely infested area (and only if there's no possibility of a cure).
Hmmm... We moved a bunch of forum stuff around a while back. Apparently this got lost in the shuffle. Sorry about that. For the time being, just use common sense and you'll be fine. :)
That would be awesome, if you guys would be willing to do that.
I'm thinking a forum thread might be the best way to do it. If you guys want to start one (give people a week's notice or so before actually jumping in), I'll link to it on a block from the main page so it gets some exposure.
I like the idea of having ongoing workshops and I'm willing to set something up about it on the main page, but I need somebody who's willing to step up and take the lead on it (that is, do a write up about the workshop and give people some direction). Is anybody up for doing that? The more, the merrier.
For folks who don't do 3D modeling, concept art would be good too. (Even if you're not that great at drawing, if you can scrawl together some creative ideas for people to build on, it would be helpful).
I saw that. I tried to sign up for the forum and prod them to use some of the OGA art sets (the 16x16 stuff, as well as the LPC contest entries), but I didn't get the forum sign up email so I was never able to post anything. Hopefully they'll see it.
Greets! :)

Peace,

So, about this...

Glad you like it. Sorry it got stuck in your head. :)
