Yup, scroll speed gets faster every 40 platforms. Platform size also gets smaller, I might make the platforms move further away from each other as well

No, I actually rather dislike the Unity engine.. The fact that they can't spend the very small amount of effort into porting their product to a large developer platform, really doesn't impress me at all.
I'm part of the Syntensity community, which actually provides a lot of Unity3d's features (eg uses the same scripting language, has a web plugin, physics etc.) (and a few more), except for the IDE functionality (which might be added upon in the future). It comes with a lot of free (libre) content too, so thats a plus as well :)

The black outlines on the black dog does give it a bit more definition though, and is slightly more clearly a dog.
However, the final version has a different, Katamari like charm to it :)
The OLPC sounds are fine for re-use, I can remember seeing a few projects using them, can't remember which though :)
