That would be a good compromize, but providing a "link to the artwork" type embeddable image would still be cool/usefull. Heck, one could tie it in with automatic accreditation generation, actually, make the artwork people use its own list, and then link to that list from the game's site.
Seeing as I'm in a dreamerly mood, one could even use that as a potential mirroring solution, if people don't have any other way to contribute to OGA, they could provide mirrors for the content they are using on their own domains, somehow linked to this system.
Personally, I'd still like to see a "used by' field on art pages, two-way attribution in a sense. Maybe the art can come with embeddable JS tags, almost like what CC offers, that calls back to OGA, provides a link to their project on the OGA listing, and a link to the specific art piece on their site or game.
Adrix, you sorta need to make people /want/ to contribute when you're asking them to ;) Put some screenshots, videos, a long, pleading article on why Lips is the best game to contrbute to etc...
Man it's hard :| Fun though! The sewer tileset looks a bit better than the desert though, having this level first would have given people a better first impression of the game
Maybe a bit of an extreme feature request, but will most probably be needed for dungeons: Being able to enter building meshes. Would make nicer cities and give more detailed exploration. Could also be used for environmental meshes, like rocks and bridges.
Wow, another excellent update :) Very, very close to a full game now, all you need are NPC's and "collect 10 rat livers" quests XD
A main menu type thing would be cool as well, as well as a loading bar to show how fast assets are downloading (however, I really like being able to play while assets are downloading, saves a lot of time)

http://love2d.org/ is a 2d lua game engine. It's far easier to learn with visual concepts, and the people on their forums will help you learn lua :)
Also, check out this screenshot someone made of the game on this reddit thread
Repos are a sign of a mature open source project, it's really awesome to see this grow :) Now, we need to see the forks and patches flow in :D
Remember to leave a link to the repo on the games' page! And write up some sort of guide for contributors
Adrix: You made the first post, you're the only one who can edit it (other than an admin)
